Lab 2 - Question

The image(1) upper left is multispectral and the image(2) lower right is panchromatic. The primary difference is color - one is in RGB 4-3-2 and the other is in black & white 1-1-1. The resolution is different, probable 30m vs. 15m. The spatial pattern is also different. Image(1) shows vegetation islands in red and

clearly defined water bodies in blue. In Image(2), islands looked like water bodies.

Exercise II

The problem is that this is my first exposure to remote sensing and aerial photos so be patient with me. To a novice, the red areas look like, well, solid red clay land. although I learn that it is vegetation. Roads and some buildings are clearly defined but every thing else is confusing.
